The use of methamphetamine (meth or ice) is increasing in NZ. It’s a daunting statistic and one that cannot be ignored.

HouseCall 2016 Ltd is able to test for the presence of meth. contamination.

We use simple Check-4-Meth kits, which give an instant, accurate present result, to a very low threshold.

We have no wish to profit from this insidious drug, so offer testing at an affordable $175 for an average sized house, where we take 2 separate tests. This fee is further discounted to $125- if done in conjunction with a full building report.

In the event of a positive result, further lab-based testing is recommended to determine the levels of contamination.

If you sell or manage a property, you are responsible for ensuring it is safe to live in. Landlords and property owners could face legal action from tenants, new owners or neighbours if there is contamination.

In many cases landlord insurance may not cover meth decontamination repairs to the home and the owner could be hit with the repair costs. Check with your insurance company.
